The Paul's Family Diner

I totally stumbled upon this place. I was driving through NJ, on the way to a business meeting, when I saw this place just over the horizon. As you can see from the photos it was just as the sun was rising, and all of a sudden there was this beautiful diner on the opposite side of the street. It was so early that I was one of two people in the restaurant. The waitstaff clearly likes working together, and they were sitting around me laughing and joking the whole time. What a nice group of people. I didn't have time to gather that much history about the place, other than that it was built in the 40's and had been renovated a couple of times. There are these incredibly gaudy paintings depecting Hollywood stars from bygone eras.

The food was great, and the black and white cookie was just as it should've been. And yes, they served Taylor Ham. I will get back to this place soon, and bring Jack with me.
